UFI Approved Events

An exhibition identified as an "UFI approved event" is a proof of high quality, thus providing exhibitors and visitors alike with the assurance of making a sound business investment. Part of the quality process to obtain and maintain “UFI Approved Event” status involves the auditing of exhibition statistics for the total net exhibition space and the number of domestic and international exhibitors as well as the number of visits or visitors. Independently derived data provides a clear basis for potential clients to make accurate decisions regarding the shows in which they should invest.

UFI has approved 1021 international events organized by its member organizers.

Auditing of Exhibition Data

UFI requires that all audits for UFI Approved Events are carried out in accordance with “UFI’s Auditing Rules for the Statistics of UFI Approved Events”, and using the UFI Standard Audit Certificate.

Any auditor who is not a member of UFI must seek approval from UFI headquarters before conducting the audit. Certain auditors are members of UFI and are therefore already approved.

For a complete list of the UFI member auditors, and those auditors certified to conduct audits please click here UFI Approved Auditors. The audit certificate should be sent to the UFI headquarters, at the latest 6 months after the end of the event. Member organizers can use alternative auditors provided that they perform the audits according to UFI’s Auditing Rules. If this is the case, please have the auditor contact the UFI headquarters who will provide the relevant support and information.
