Joining UFI:

13. How does an organisation join UFI?
Membership requirements and fees vary depending on an organisation’s category and size.  To become a member of UFI, a letter of recommendation is required from 2 different full members from 2 different countries. An inspection visit may also be requested for exhibition organizers or exhibition centre membership candidates.  An exhibition organizer must present at least one event for UFI Event Approval to join UFI.

All requests for UFI membership admission are initially examined by the Membership Committee, and then passed to the Executive Committee for acceptance.  Please contact newmembers@ufi.org for more information.

14. What is the annual membership fee?
UFI members support the association, its activities and programmes, via an annual membership fee which is determined by the UFI Board of Directors each year.  It varies from 1,200€/year to 18,000€/year depending on the organisation’s membership category.

15. Do we need to pay an application fee when applying for membership?

23. How much does it cost to audit an event audit in order to meet UFI’s requirements?
Prices vary from one auditor to another and one event to another.  Please discuss this with the auditor of your choice.
